Typically, audit results spend a long, peaceful retirement in the comfort of the nearest file cabinet and are seldom, if ever, used for active process management.

However, if you analyze the audit findings with process based analytics such as SPC and apply the results to your continuous improvement program, you have an excellent way to strengthen your food safety management system. This implies better performance on subsequent audits and improved compliance with GFSI and ISO 22000 standards.
